BJ + Bryan - Clancy, MT Intimate Wedding

If you know us at all, you know how much we have always been drawn to the quirky, to the eccentric, to the wildly in love and unabashedly willing to just be yourself and have FUN. We love photographing people who are so at home in their own skin, so willing to laugh, so willing to share, to embrace, to celebrate, and so when BJ + Bryan asked us to photograph their intimate wedding deep in the mountains outside of Clancy, Montana, we didn’t hesitate to say yes.

We’ve known BJ a long time, she’s always been such an absolute beacon of light in the Helena community, and to know her is to love her. Her hair color and style might change, but the kindness she offers out so freely never will. All of this showed up so prominently in their wedding.

From an all-hands-on-deck approach to the food, the drink, and the unbelievable Goloso soft-serve food truck ice cream that her sister owns and so graciously provided the wedding guests, to the bubble explosion that welcomed BJ down the aisle to Bryan, to the hobbit house they slept in the night of the wedding, it was a detail extravaganza and a feast for our eyes, and lenses.

What stood tall above it all, however, even taller than the Dance Dance Revolution first dance-off, was the love between BJ and Bryan, and the way it so gently enveloped the pair of them. They love each other for precisely how they are, and I cannot think of a more beautiful thing.
